Google I/O 2019 to take place May 7-9 in Mountain View

Google I/O 2019 will take place from Tuesday, May 7 through Thursday, May 9 in Mountain View, California.

On Friday morning, Google released a code breaking puzzle on its events page, hinting at a Google I/O reveal date. It didn’t take long for Till Kottmann, a Lawnchair Launcher developer, to crack the code. He Tweeted his answer in just an hour:

Google has yet to confirm these official Google I/O dates, and we still aren’t sure when tickets will go on sale. We’ll be sure to update this article as we learn more.

Google I/O is first and foremost a developer conference, so we can always expect some major new Android announcements, updates to Google services and Google Assistant, and much, much more. The company also debuted Google Duplex, the insane Assistant feature that can call businesses and book appointments for you.
